Lake Almanor Country Club first opened for play in 1972.The course was designed by Homer Flint.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3,105 yards. The longest hole on the course is the par-5 489 yards number 1. The shortest hole on the course is the par-3 137 yard number 3.
Watch out for number 8 a par-4 440 yard challenge. This is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The par-4 323 yard number 9 is considered to be the easiest hole on the course.

I am a member of the Lake Almanor country Club and am very biased in my comments and opinions.It is a splendid community populated by great people. Vacationers are welcomed and generally comport themselves like ladies and gentlemen - some exceptions of course! It is not a "slick" course in any sense of the word. It is a great course to play and enjoy golf in the way it is supposed to be played.
